"This is seriously thoughtful and intelligent songwriting...he has also managed to set this to some damn fine music.
This is a balladeer with a mean guitar."

BIO

George St Clair is a polymath – musician, anthropologist, archaeologist and artist. From an upbringing in West Texas to extended periods of time living in Mexico, Brazil, Peru and the UK, George has built up a rich perspective on music and life that is truly original. George cut his musical teeth in the dynamic Austin, Texas music scene - fronting Country, Flamenco, and Salsa bands. These influences come together to form a sound that transgresses the borders of the US Southwest. After finishing his PhD in anthropology he stayed on in London to go back to music full time, releasing his debut solo album in 2018. In the heartfelt new record, “Do You Feel Strange?” George stays true to his Texan roots, but his exposure to other worlds shines through in a work that is uplifting, yet emotionally complex. The result is melodically powerful, inspiring and poignant – a contemporary tribute to the magic of songwriting.
